Bay Area

Redwoods and Lighthouses

We left San Francisco on July 2nd via the Golden Gate Bridge. But we stayed in the Bay Area to visit Muir Woods National Park, a redwood forest. These redwoods can grow up to 2000 years old...

By lunchtime, we reached Marshall at Point Reyes National Seashore just in time to taste the delicious barbecued oysters at Marshall Store.

Afterwards, we had a picnic on the beautiful, secluded Limantour Beach.

We also drove further down to the Point Reyes lighthouse, where we did a rather breathtaking (literally) hike.
