We left Los Angeles on the Highway 1 or Pacific Coast Highway. Cruising this highway is considered to be the mother of all roadtrips. Now, I wouldn't go so far to agree with that (after all, we have been driving on some spectacular roads) but the views were certainly unforgettable. And we didn't even get that lucky with the weather (very cloudy but apparently not too uncommon in this part of the country). I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...
